The Santa Ana Watershed Association (SAWA) and the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) will be starting a new garden project.  They are looking for a group or those individuals interest
ed in taking part in this educational program.  They are currently seeking students to participate in the Garden In Every School Demonstration Garden Project for the Chino Creek Wetlands and Educational Park.  Participating students would be involved throughout the entire project, including planning, designing, prepping, planting, and monitoring.  The project is set to begin in late September of 2009 and will run until sometime in April of 2010.  It will require a commitment of once or twice a month. The involvement of youth  is integral to this exciting, hands-on program.  Get your children out of that school chair.  Let them get outdoors, get their hands into the earth, get dirty and connect with and better understand how sustenance and care of the
planet works.
