Hello, my name is Machan Taylor and I work with the Kids Science Challenge, a free nationwide competition for third to sixth graders, made possible by the National Science Foundation. Many homeschoolers participated in the first year of the Kids' Science Challenge, and we hope you¹ll have a look at this fun way to turn kids on to the world of science.

Our website http://www.kidsciencechallenge.com offers games, downloadable activities, videos, and curricula aligned to national standards. Kids learn about several fields of science, and are invited to
submit an experiment or problem for our select group of kid-friendly scientists and engineers. The children whose entries are chosen, receive wonderful prizes and get to collaborate with the scientists to see their
ideas come alive. The first thousand entrants receive free science activity kits and your home schoolers can use our activities to jump-start their own science projects at home.
